The SECUNORM 610 XDR is the first universal bag opener that cuts efficiently and safely. With this knife, you can open bags made from any material and any thickness, no matter what’s inside. "XDR" stands for eXtra Dirt Resistant. Thanks to the holder, your SECUNORM 610 XDR is safely stored and always within reach.  

Ideal for opening bags, also perfect for cutting cardboard (up to 3-ply), film, strapping bands, foam, felt, etc.  

The knife and holster are very easy to clean and are also metal detectable.

The open design of the SECUNORM 610 XDR has several advantages: dust and other particles don’t stick, and the movable elements remain functional. This means the handle and blade retraction still work under difficult conditions.  

The new, extra-sharp blade is especially large and has a cutting depth of 32 mm. Perfect for quickly and safely cutting everything from simple plastic bags to multi-layered kraft paper with liner.  Attach the holster with the clip to your belt or pocket. Or use the optional holder to mount it at your workstation. Thanks to the eyelets in the holster and knife, you can also securely fasten them together.

In sensitive industries, such as the food industry, contamination must be avoided at all costs. Therefore, the plastic of the knives and holsters is metal detectable.  

The SECUNORM 610 XDR is equipped with an automatic blade retraction: when you release the operating lever, the blade retracts into the holder and stays there. This provides excellent protection against cuts.
